In this role, the Associate will interact with customers from all over the world who are calling for resolutions to their problems. The Associate will handle calls and emails from customers and will need to collect and analyze information from customers in order to offer the best solution and complete this with one call resolution.


Duties and Responsibilities

Deliver superior customer experience by providing product information and processing orders.
Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills in every interaction and ensure timely, one-call resolution with customers.
Effectively de-escalate customer issues using empathy and conflict resolution skills.
Utilize effective time management and prioritization skills in order to handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate motivation by identifying personal strengths and opportunities in partnership with supervisor to develop career enhancing skills.
Ability to identify and report any critical or reoccurring customer service issues to Supervisor.
Utilize suggestive sales techniques to meet established targets.
Demonstrate the ability to make sound business decisions
Any other duties that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5 CSEC subjects inclusive of English A/B and a Numerical Subject
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Solid computer skills including internet knowledge (such as basic searching and queries) and some email.
Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
Must be 18 years and older
Must possess a valid Jamaican ID (Passport, National ID or Driver’s License)
Verbal Communication, Phone Skills, Listening, Data Entry Skills, People Skills, Customer Centric, Customer Service, Attention to Detail, Professionalism, Multi-tasking

The Ideal Associate must:

Has Excellent comprehension ability

Critical thinker and achievement Driven
Clear communication skills, Ability to use positive language and a quick thinker (ability to handle surprises)- Associate Is versed in conversational English (has at least 3 in Eng. A/B)- This candidate would be at least a mid-mesolect on language continuum (meaning they have an above average command of the language both orally and written)
Knowledge of the Product Easily learnt (receptive to feedback) and is computer literate
Agent must possess good time management skills
Goal-oriented, focused and a team player
Asociate MUST be committed to the job at Collective Solution
